I've read a bunch of user blogs from unhappy parkingticket.com users. I just received a denial of refund from them (see text below). It seems they use a standard excuse of "not using the copyrighted logo". I'm seeking other unhappy customers to possibly file a class action lawsuit against these scammers and start a anti-parkingticket.com website for consumers. Please note, we answer all emails on a first-come, first-served basis. Thank you, The Support Team parkingticket.com The copyright issue is a scam since you can't cut and paste the logo. I coppied the letter word for word and didn't change a thing. I was also out of town for 2 weeks and didn't meet the STRICT 30 day window. An honest and reputable company wouldn't nit pick like this. STAY AWAY. They are scammers and everyone should report them to Better Business Bureau. If you paid for their service using a credit card, dispute the charges with your credit card issuer. Just tell them the merchant wouldn't honor their own money-back guarantee. If you didn't pay using a credit card, don't make that mistake again.

Parkingticket.com are big scamers. I paid them money up front, and the next day my car was towed before I could mail any letter. I requsted a refund from them the next day, but they refused. They provided me w/ no service, and kept my $100.00 I wrote to BBB- and we fought back and forth - I finally gave up. They are a bunch of lawyers who know how to write fancy documents, so they think the can talk themselves out of refunds. I hope they go out of business soon!!!

Last I heard about these guys, they had a pretty severe penalty in their T&C if you tried to do a chargeback after they refused your refund. I don't have time to look -- is it still there?

their three line "Guarantee" really doesn't mean very much versus their mega paragraph "Terms and Conditions". Looks like anyone using this service is up the creek if they don't comply exactly with the terms and conditions. Probably cheaper to pay the darn ticket than mess with these guys. If someone could figure out how many tickets they actually got rescinded then that would be worthwhile.

So let me get this straight - they claim two reasons for rejecting your refund request: one is that you didn't include their logo - which you admit you didn't do - and the other is that they say you were not within their time limit - which you admit you were not. This sounds to me like they laid out some rules for you to follow in order to get a refund, you didn't follow their rules, and now you are complaining that they didn't give you a refund.

Ummm... duh?

In what way is this a scam? Were these rules unavailable to you before you sent them your money? This gripe sounds more like a whine that their rules shouldn't apply to you because one of them was a little hard to follow and the other was personally inconvenient to you. But I can't say I'm surprised, since I see the whole purpose of a service like this is to scam the system anyway. If your parking ticket was legit, pay it. You broke the law, take responsibility for your actions. If your ticket wasn't legit, well there is already a system in place to remedy the situation. It's called traffic court.

It's hard to muster much sympathy for one scammer who was scammed by another.

I wouldn't give these guys a used fast-food napkin, let alone my CC number or cash. Let me put it this way (it has many, many times before): If it looks too good to be true, it probably is!
