I use TaxCut on a Mac and have also found problems with the this year's version. I bought the Federal+State+Efile package and when I got to the state it wanted to charge me for the download! Took about an hour on the phone to tech support to get a workaround, then I found the real fix myself (the common Mac cure of deleting the preferences file). Also, in this year of last minute IRS changes, the Mac updates ran about 2 weeks later than the PC updates. Why can't they do this in parallel? In any case, I'd never go back to Intuit. I, too, was caught up in Intuit's DRM fiasco. That and having to fill out rebates for the purchase, state, and efile (the latter two were bundled in versions at one point in time and then became rebates) had me switch to TaxCut. I also dropped Quicken for Microsoft Money (and yes, I run Windows Money on the Mac). "rv5vMn" isn't a word!
