The Worst Vendor Poll

Yes, it's time to make up your mind and cast your vote. And it's going to be really hard to choose, because there are so many worthy candidates. But a breathless nation awaits your verdict, so I know I can count on all of you to do your duty by voting in the GripeLog Worst Vendor of 2007 poll.

If you think voters in Iowa and New Hampshire are going to have a lengthy ballot to consider, this year I couldn't pare down the list of Worst Vendor candidates to less than 25. And even then I know I'm going to hear legit complaints about some of the companies I chose to leave off the ballot. But, hey, at least I can honestly say I consider every one of these 25 names to be viable candidates deserving of your consideration for this much uncoveted title.

So how do you decide which company was the Worst Vendor of 2007? If you're one of those conscientious types who likes to study up on the details of each candidate's positions, take a look at my overview of notable 2007 gripes to help with your research. But you can also just go with your gut - in other words, the name on our list that gives you the yuckiest feeling in the pit of the stomach is probably the best choice.

As always with my GripeLog polls, the vote tally itself will be interesting, but it's the comments readers post to drum up support for their favorite will likely be even more illuminsating. This is one vote where electioneering in the polling place is definitely allowed. So find the Worst Vendor of 2007 poll on the right-hand side of this page to cast your vote and see how others are voting. Then post your comments below or write me at Foster@gripe2ed.com and tell us why you voted the way you did or which vendor that wasn't on our ballot was nonetheless your Worst Vendor of 2007.
