Passwords[ Reply to This ] (none / 0) (#12)

What kind of sitemaster mind thinks that changing passwords regularly adds to security?

Quite the opposite. Since we are buried under logins and passwords from many sites that we must keep precisely straight, forced password expiration requires us to write them down someplace.

Writing down passwords is many orders of magnitude less secure than keeping the same memorized one for all time.

So yes, when an online service requires that I use a fluctuating password, I don't deal there.
