Pre-emptive Complaint to County Cable Ombudsman[ Reply to This ] (none / 0) (#5)
by MarkCPhinn on Tue Apr 17, 2007 at 08:46:21 PM PDT

Comcast has been the monopoly cable provider in Montgomery County, MD, for at least four years. I have found that a complaint to the County Cable Ombudsman will result in a call from the local Comcast County Liaison within an hour. Thankfully, I only have to make an average of one complaint a year to the County Cable Ombudsman. Tomorrow I will call Comcast in an attempt to get written guidelines on what constitutes "download abuse" since my family has a total of 5 active computers downloading email and Microsoft software updates, and I download various software development packages and related updates. If the Comast representative balks at my request, which I expect he will, my next phone call will be the County Ombudsman with my tardy 2006 complaint.
