When Infoworld dropped all their better (in my opinion) writers, including Ed, I let my subscription lapse.  What I did was sign up for the email versions that many of those writers put out.

Then InfoWorld started crimping down on what each writer emailed out, with links to finish the story on their website.  There, not only do I rack up "internet time" at work, I get bombarded with advertising from InfoWorld.

Personally, I'm about to drop all of the emails I get from InfoWorld because of this.  If the cancellation process let me tell them exactly why their mis-management of their writers led me to cancel, I would have already.

Maybe a InfoWorld Gripe entry would help.
