Anyone who knows anything about LiIon batteries and battery safety should applaud Motorola for this approach. What they are actually saying is that in order to safely use the product without hazard they have designed a system which includes the battery the phone and the charger to the highest safety standards and that they are trying to keep you from blowing up.
