Why have we allowed this issue to even be placed on us? What is the difference between Bill Gates and a plumber? Both produce something, but one gets obnoxious protection forever on what they produced. I am willing to bet that if Gates and others currently enjoying the protection of licensing laws had to pay the plumber again every time they used the crapper (seat licensing at its very best) or an upgrade fee to reload the TP, they would soon be crying foul. They intellectual endevour is no better or worse than the plumber, only applied to something different.
