The Microsoft Advanced Search works on Opera 7.54, but the text input boxes are about 1/8 the size of the ones in IE.

With Firefox, there is a Tool (Useragent Switcher), which works when you set it as Internet Explorer.

We use the Firefox Useragent Switcher in Fedora Core with Mozilla and under Windows with Firefox. In both cases we have been able to use historically IE-only sites such as Suntrust. The person that does my books is ecstatic at not needing to reboot into Windows just to check the bank balances anymore.

Time to wipe that Windows partition for good. Bru-hahahahaha. Later Bill and thanks for all the fish.

Yes, it works on some sites that just test the useragent, but not those which check using javascript (checking if IE-only objects or properties exist) and not, even worse, those which use ActiveX and/or VisualBasicScript to check.
All in all, surfing with a doomed useragent is a bad idea: it shows webmasters wrongs stats, hiding people with non-IE browsers.
