Symantec rebates[ Parent ] (none / 0) (#16)
by Anonymous User on Tue Aug 24, 2004 at 11:24:41 AM PDT

When Symantec rebates work, they are REALLY fast, like under a month. However, when they are bad, they get rejected for bogus reasons, or just don't get entered at all. I recently had a problem with 2 rebates I sent in, they never showed up. So I contacted customer service and they gave me the fax #, and I faxed my submission, and it still did not show up. Then I asked if I could email the scans and they said yes, and it still did not show up. Finally I sent a nastygram to Symantec, and I got a phone call from Parago (the rebate processor) and apparently they finally got to processing my rebate. In fact, they apparently processed each of them twice :-). So now I figure I've been compensated for my pain and suffering.
