Never respond to a promotion[ Reply to This ] (none / 0) (#3)

I learned a long, long time ago to never respond to a promotion that comes with software. It's not worth the hassle. My experience was with AOL in its early days (the 80's). I forgot to cancel my "free" membership after the trial period. At least in those days, it only cost me $9.95 on my credit card for the un-free month. Ever since, the diskettes were reformatted (got a ton of free diskettes that way) & the CD's were tossed. Anyone who asked me what to do with all the CD's they were getting was told to use them as coasters. If you don't need coasters, buy battery clock mechanisms & turn the CD's into clocks that you can give away as presents. All your friends who are AOL members should appreciate it.
