Ever wonder what your favorite EULA looked like a few years ago? Check out www.archive.org and search for your favorite website using their Wayback Machine.

A quick check of backup.com shows that the very early pages listed are not currently available. Pages from July 17, 2001 are still available, but the EULA is not readily accessible from the home page (what a surprise!).

But, assuming the structure was still the same back then, I typed in agreement.html to the tail of the displayed page, and here's what you get:

http://web.archive.org/web/20010717183024/www.backup.com/agreement.html

NO MENTION OF AUTOMATIC RENEWALS!

(imagine that!)
