sounds safer than using a current credit card![ Parent ] (none / 0) (#27)

Because after all if the numbers they require are for a "dead" credit card, no man-in-the-middle can use it (ie. steal it). Talk about a scary sort of insecurity -- just about like the current phishing spams. What a lovely thought, deluge someone deserving with all the spam their underlings are directed to send. :D Turns out MBFS now has TWO mailing lists -- one plaintext that has a reply-option remove, and one HTML that used to have a link to a removal page (which has NEVER worked) but no longer does. Will be "interesting" to see if the "remove by reply" works for one, both, or neither.
