This trend has got to stop. What we need are some powerful allies in Congress who have enough clout to get some pro-consumer bills passed. The press can help too by noting onerous licensing terms, DRM methods, and a company's history in filing SLAPP-like or DMCA suits with regards to their products. They have really dropped the ball on this. Ed, we need you a national magazine again.
