Hardware companies lack opportunity for abuse.[ Reply to This ] (none / 0) (#1)

Presumably the hardware companies that abuse their customers would like to abuse them as badly as do the software companies, but they don't have as much opportunity. Bad hardware is likely to cause high warranty costs. Software comes with absolutely no guarantee.
