Whitelist filter (none / 0) (#1)
by klawiter on Thu May 15, 2003 at 11:44:17 AM PDT

I like the concept of the Whitelist if it is implemented as a filter.  Im certainly appalled to see companies take the obvious (to a user community anyway) dark path while they are supposedly selling us an answer to a problem.  If I choose to set up a simple filter and send everything to the bit-bucket except what I want to see, nobody should care and certainly, nobody should know (I dont support the challenge concept).  I dont even want 'potentially' desirable email at my private account. It's unfortunate that this medium, which was a preferred method of communication for me in the beginning, now needs to be a member's only club... but that is how I see it today.
