Even multi-user license stuff with Quark is a hassle, there's some sort of keyserver app that needs to be run to manage the licenses and make sure Quark gets every dime that's coming to them-- literally. It apparently lets you launch more copies of Quark than you have a license for, phones home to report your usage to Quark, who then BILLS you for any overages. Do a search for "Quark License Server" in Google Groups and you'll see what I'm talking about. People are pissed-- and apparently Quark started doing it with version 5 early this year, so I'm glad my one client who upgraded to 5 got in under the wire when they were still issuing multi-user license codes for it.
